Papers associated with Robert Platt Daggett, the firm's founder, include correspondence, small house floor plans on linen for 181 houses built in Indianapolis, Ind. and Illinois; a ledger listing jobs by the firm, 1880-1910, with costs; and a scrapbook, 1889-1897, from the Indianapolis Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. Robert Frost Daggett's papers include correspondence; lectures on architecture and design; summaries of work done by the firm and photographs beginning in 1923; and company ledgers, 1911-1933. The largest portion of the collection is related to Robert Frost Daggett, Jr. Included are notes taken while an architectural student in 1948; photographs of buildings designed by the firm; legal papers and minutes; client agreements, 1948-1976; ledgers, 1933-1974; yearly audits; and brochures and scrapbooks.
